Today, Ashley began physical therapy in her room to re-build her strength. She got a trapeze installed above her bed: she’ll use this for exercises and to help move around on the bed. The hospital also installed an air mattress; this will help protect her skin and be cooler to lie on.
She is receiving an echo cardio gram this evening to assess her heart and lungs, and she continues to receive anti-coagulants and pain and anti-nausea medicine. We think she is just a bit better, but she is having a difficult time. She (and all of us in her family) really appreciate your prayers, messages and support.
